As we approach 2026, I have found myself pausing to reflect on just how much this past year has held. Not just in output or milestones, but in growth, courage and belief. 2025 was a year of doing things for the first time, often while navigating uncertainty, health challenges and the quiet fear that comes with building something meaningful from the ground up.

One of the biggest moments this year was hosting my first ever business related event in partnership with The King’s Trust. That experience marked a turning point. It reminded me that Chronic Junk is not just an idea or a brand, but a growing platform rooted in lived experience, purpose and community. Standing in that space felt like a validation of the work done behind the scenes for so long.

This year also saw the expansion of what I create and offer. I began selling a wider range of custom products, each designed with intention and care. Over the course of the year, I made thirty phone cases. Some were awareness led, some were personal, some were simply creative. All of them represented time, effort and the belief that what we carry with us every day should feel meaningful.

Writing remained a constant throughout 2025. I published thirteen blog posts, each one a space to be honest, reflective and informative. Sharing words continues to be one of the most grounding parts of this journey, especially when those words resonate with others who feel unseen or unheard.

One of the most unexpected and affirming moments of the year was my first radio interview. Being invited to speak and share my poetry publicly was both nerve wracking and empowering. It was a reminder that my voice has a place, and that stories rooted in vulnerability still matter.

These are just a few of the achievements from this year, but together they paint a picture of consistency, resilience and quiet progress. None of it was perfect. Some days were heavy. Some goals took longer than planned. But everything moved forward with intention.

As we move towards a new year, I want to take a moment to speak directly to those living with chronic illness. Making plans, setting goals and dreaming of the future can feel complicated when your health is unpredictable. Progress often looks different for us, and that is okay. Showing up at all is an achievement.

My hope for 2026 is that it brings as much health and stability as possible. Fewer hospital admissions, gentler days, bodies that feel supported rather than battled, and moments of rest without guilt. I hope our goals and dreams align with our capacity, and that success is measured not just by what we achieve, but by how well we care for ourselves along the way.

As we step into 2026, I do so with gratitude and hope. I wish for continued growth, deeper connection and the courage to keep creating even when things feel uncertain. May the year ahead bring alignment, opportunity and peace, and may we all be kind to ourselves in the process.

Thank you to everyone who supported Chronic Junk this year, whether by reading, sharing, purchasing, encouraging or simply believing. Here is to a new year of possibility, care and showing up.
