Our Story.

Chronic Junk was created from a very personal place. As someone living with sickle cell, I often struggled to find products that truly represented people like me. There were very few brands creating items that reflected the experiences, strength and identity of those living with chronic illnesses.

I also saw the same gap through friends who live with different chronic conditions. We wanted things that made us feel seen, represented and proud of our journeys. That is where the idea for Chronic Junk began.

The name “Chronic Junk” comes from my first products, junk phone cases. These are handcrafted cases decorated with charms, gems, symbols and designs that tell a story. What started as a creative way to make expressive cases soon became something much bigger.

Today, Chronic Junk is about more than just customised products. It is an initiative to raise awareness for different chronic illnesses, spark conversations and help people living with these conditions feel recognised and supported. Every design is created with the intention of celebrating individuality while highlighting the strength of the chronic illness community.

Whether someone chooses a case for awareness, personal expression or simply because they love the design, the goal remains the same: to create meaningful products that start conversations and remind people that they are not alone.
